Founded in 1883, Poult is France’s leading manufacturer of private label biscuits and the second-largest producer of sweet biscuits in France. Poult produces 330 million packets of biscuits per year and supplies most of the French retail groups (Carrefour, Leclerc, Casino, Leader Price, etc.) and on a sub-contracted basis for major retail brands. Poult employs 800 people in France at five production plants located in Montauban (Tarnet-Garonne), Aire sur l’Adour (Landes), Sully sur Loire (Loiret), Briec de l’Odet and Fouesnant (Finistère), and a logistics hub at Toulouse Montech. Poult recorded revenue of €180 million in 2015.
