IT Due Diligence: Secure your investment
Software is the DNA of our society and the organisations we work in. In order to provide clear insight in the risks of software related investments, SIG developed a service named ‘IT Due Diligence’ especially for the Private Equity market.
Based on the ambitions and plans for the future of organisations, in which software plays a crucial role, SIG translates software quality (scalability, stability, security) to future investments (Euro’s) that will be necessary.
These insights provide investors during an acquisition, new funding rounds or prior to an exit with a clear vision of the (im)possibilities regarding the software.
Due to scientific research and the development of market standards for software quality, SIG contributes to further professionalization of the software market. This professionalization is beneficial to investors.
About SIG
SIG was founded in 2000 as a spin-off from the Center for Mathematics and Information Technology (CWI) and the University of Amsterdam, and grew into an international organization with offices in seven countries and a high level of expertise. Our software analysis lab is ISO/IEC 17025 certified - the international standard for test laboratories - and therefore unique. In 2013 and 1014 SIG was awarded the ISO/IEC 27001 certificate. This certification emphasizes that the business processes comply with 133 strict criteria regarding information security.
