Chemelot Ventures is an independent regional venture capital fund in the south of the Netherlands (Limburg) with a focus on smart materials and life sciences. We support innovative companies which fit in with the ecosystem of the Brightlands campuses.
We invest in product companies as well as in technology platforms and circular economy initiatives.
We believe that proximity matters. Our philosophy is that our portfolio companies have a higher chance of success and a shorter time to market by interacting with the Brightlands ecosystem. We have a strong focus on enhancing value with our network for our portfolio companies.
Chemelot Ventures is the successor fund of the 2004 vintage Limburg Ventures which has made 21 investments.
