Pauwels Consulting was founded in 1999 by Bert Pauwels, a joyful young man with an ambitious plan. The IT market was booming and there was a big need for experts who could bridge the gap between technology and business. Bert started matching IT experts with projects and clients and Pauwels Consulting was born. In 2004 and 2005, we expanded our scope to the engineering and pharmaceutical industries. Our backoffice team grew and we set of for a double-digit growth year after year.
Over the years, our values and our meticulous focus on quality have never changed. We still focus on our human approach, good matches between our consultants and clients, and enabling personal and professional growth for both our consultants and clients. We still want to be the best at what we do, not necessarily the biggest. This will never change.
Still, we are proud to have been awarded the Trends Gazelle award for being one of the fastest growing companies in Flanders 12 years in a row (2011-2023). At first we grew organically, but since the start of our partnership with 3D Investors in 2016 we have accelerated our growth considerably through the acquisition of ambitious companies such as Vandycke & Partners – Mediconsult, P.I.T.-Advisor, Akros Solutions, AlphaZ, HCM, Developers.nl, Bruggenbouwers, Open Web and DCI IT in Belgium and the Netherlands.
At the moment, our team consists of more than 1500 consultants. We enable growth from our offices in Ghent, Brussels, Diegem, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Hoofddorp, Capelle aan den Ijssel, Nieuwegein, Paris, Frankfurt and Basel, and we would be honored if we could also help you unlock your full potential.
