This SME company has a rich history and originated in 1895 when Jacob Pielkenrood invented the steel oil drum. In the 1960's, Jacob's grandson, Jacob, along with Shell engineers, designed the first modern oil/water separator, the CPI. Such type of separator, although in improved form, is still the world standard for removing water from oil.
